The new project "Slavic Blagovest" will appear in the program of "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk 2019"

A new project – the "Slavyansky Blagovest" choral music festival – has been included in the main events program of the International Arts Festival. The initiative came from the forum's directorate, which was supported by the head of the Belarusian Exarchate, Metropolitan Pavel, and Archbishop Dmitry of Vitebsk and Orsha.

The celebration of spiritual music will take place on July 14 and 15. Its opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Holy Assumption Cathedral, while the choral ensemble concerts will take place at various venues around the city. It is planned that representatives from different countries will participate in "Slavyansky Blagovest"; negotiations with the forum's foreign partners are currently underway regarding this.

As noted by the directorate, spiritual music will add its own colors to the festival palette. It is symbolic that the concluding chord of "Slavyansky Blagovest" will sound before the closing concert of the arts forum.

Other innovations of "Slavyansky Bazaar" include an unusual concert that will bring together stars of world opera and rock. The program also features performances by teams from the Higher League of KVN, ice and circus shows, jazz evenings, and much more.
