The plant uses special warehouses, called "shokhi," for storing flax straw. With a raw material procurement volume of about 12 thousand tons, the capacity of three such operating warehouses is 7.5 thousand tons. The remaining raw material was stored in improper conditions until now, which affected its quality. The implementation of the project has solved this problem. The new warehouse, measuring 144x24 m, was built using credit resources from the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the enterprise's own funds. The total cost amounted to Br2.1 million.

The Dubrovno Flax Mill is the best flax processing enterprise in the Vitebsk region and is among the leading ones in the country. Its main activity is the production of flax fiber. The flax mill's raw material zone includes five farms in the Dubrovno district with a total area of 650 hectares, and its own sown areas amount to 2.2 thousand hectares. The enterprise employs 235 people. In 2019, products worth Br10.4 thousand were produced here, which is 132% of the 2018 level. Flax fiber production amounted to 3.4 thousand tons, including 2.3 thousand tons of short fiber. A total of 11.7 thousand tons of flax straw was processed. The average grade of flax raw material was 1.01. The average grade of long fiber is 10.18, and short fiber is 3.58.

Nikolai Sherstnev noted the stable operation of the flax mill. "The enterprise operates profitably and is developing. At the same time, it has reached its maximum capacity. But we cannot stop. We need to move towards deeper processing: we have a lot of work to do with flax production waste, and we practically do not process flax seeds. Therefore, we need to find good, interesting projects whose implementation will give a new impetus to strengthening the economy of the enterprise and the district, will allow the mill to become the best flax processing production in the country, and will contribute to strengthening the authority of the Vitebsk region," emphasized the head of the region.
