A new grain drying complex has been commissioned in the Orsha district

A modern grain drying complex manufactured by "Amkodor" with a capacity of 60 tons per hour has been commissioned at the "Agrokombinat Yubileiny" in the Orsha district.

As the director of the agricultural enterprise, Alexander Firsin, explained, the grain drying complex was leased under a state program for 7 years at 2% per annum. Credit funds were used for the construction of the foundation and landscaping of the territory. In total, the new facility cost more than 10 billion rubles. Next year, it is planned to build storage facilities for 10 thousand tons of grain.

The farm was in urgent need of a third grain drying complex. The fact is that "Agrokombinat Yubileiny" is the largest grain producer in the Vitebsk region (6.5 thousand hectares are allocated for grain crops, and 1300 tons arrive from the fields daily). Last year, 30 thousand tons were threshed, and this year they plan to obtain at least 27 thousand tons. As of yesterday, almost 80% of the areas have been harvested, and over 20 thousand tons of grain have been threshed with a yield of 41 centners per hectare.
