A feature film dedicated to their feat will be shot about the Heroes of Belarus - Polotsk native Lieutenant Nikita Kukonenko and Major Andrey Nichiporchik

A Thematic Meeting Held at the Ministry of Culture

A feature film about the heroic feat of the Heroes of Belarus – military pilots Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko, who tragically died near Baranovichi in 2021 while diverting a falling Yak-130 away from residential areas, will be shot in our country.

"Today, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of Belarus held their first working meeting, where they discussed the film's script, cast, and overall filming concept. The film has the working title 'One for Two'. Filming is scheduled for 2025," the statement reads.
