JSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" has implemented a comprehensive enterprise management system

JSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" implemented a comprehensive (integrated) enterprise management system in 2007-2010, the chief metrologist of the joint-stock company Vladimir Gavrilenko told a BELTA correspondent. In accordance with the state program "Quality" for 2007-2010 and the industry program of the concern "Belneftekhim", the enterprise developed and implemented three management systems based on the requirements and provisions of international standards of the ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000 series: a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO 9001; environmental management (STB ISO 14001); occupational health and safety management (STB 18001). In 2007, in preparation for this work, the enterprise management decided to develop a Comprehensive (Integrated) Enterprise Management System (CIEMS), which includes the three specified areas of activity. The development of the comprehensive system by JSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" was carried out in close business cooperation with specialists from the Consulting Center of the State Scientific and Production Association "AGAT", established at its parent organization - "Research Institute of Automation Means" (Minsk). In 2008, the quality management system was certified, in 2009 - occupational health and safety management, and in December 2010 - environmental management. The chief metrologist of the enterprise emphasized that the implementation of the above work required the involvement of significant resources: human, time, and intellectual. Managers and specialists from the main departments and structural divisions of the enterprise were involved in the preparation of initial data and the development of documentation, and regular consultations were held to coordinate the developed standards and guiding documents. Open Joint Stock Company "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" is a modern, highly automated enterprise of the petrochemical complex of Belarus. It is the successor to the Novopolotsk Republican Unitary Enterprise for Oil Transportation (NRUPTN) "Druzhba", which was transformed into JSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" at the end of 2010. The main task of the joint-stock company is the transportation of Russian oil from the West Siberian region, Tatarstan, and the Volga region to Belarus (JSC "Naftan"). The oil pipelines operated by the organization also allow for the transit transportation of oil to the Baltic countries. -0-
