JSC "Rudakovo" launched an autonomous power plant

March 19, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Rudakovo OJSC launched an autonomous power plant today, the enterprise director Mikhail Krivenchuk told a BELTA correspondent. The cost of the facility is Br32 billion. The power plant consists of two cogeneration units with a capacity of 3 thousand kW each. The main part of the energy resources obtained is used to create a special lighting regime necessary for growing vegetables in closed ground. Now Rudakovo OJSC's greenhouse complex will be able to grow them year-round, not just in the summer period. It is planned to produce about 200 tons of cucumbers and tomatoes monthly.
