JSC "Vitebsk Carpets" plans to increase production capacity
One of the city-forming enterprises of the city on the Dvina, OJSC "Vitebsk Carpets", lives at its usual pace. In the morning of October 26, the first shift workers, specialists and managers, employees of branded stores and the social sphere, which is about 500 people, as always, began their direct duties. In total, OJSC "Vitebsk Carpets" in the regional center employs more than 1200 people. The flagship of the industry operates in four shifts.

The situation is calm, states the director of the enterprise Elena Chebotareva:
– I won't reveal anything new if I remind you: to be confident in the future and receive a decent salary, you need to prove yourself well through labor, and not through dubious posts on the internet or disruptions of the production process. Our employees are competent, smart, they will not let us down. Especially now, when everyone knows and feels that the enterprise is on the verge of a new stage of development. This year, we acquired the property complex of the "Kovry Bresta" enterprise. If at first such a decision, in fact, about creating a unified carpet industry in the country, seemed difficult, then today everything is working out successfully. It's time to think about increasing capacity. We export products to 16 countries. We ship the lion's share of supplies to Russia. Our trading partners from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Baltics, Hungary, and Finland also fulfill mutual contractual obligations. This is a clear example that loud, often destructive slogans are one thing, but traditional mutually beneficial cooperation has not been canceled by anyone.
