JSC "Vityaz" will expand its range of medical equipment
JSC "Vityaz" plans to expand its medical equipment line in 2019 by mastering the production of a special vein visualization device, which is currently undergoing testing, said Gennady Azarov, the plant's general director.
The vein visualizer was developed by the enterprise's design department by order and in close cooperation with medical specialists. It provides good visual access to veins in a specific body area and is intended for the diagnosis of venous diseases, as well as for vascular procedures. With its help, a doctor can see the location and condition of veins by highlighting the required area on the body with infrared radiation, which significantly facilitates vascular manipulations. Currently, the domestic development is undergoing testing and refinement, after which serial production of the product is planned to be launched. JSC "Vityaz" will also continue to develop its line of air and steam sterilizers, supplementing the existing model range with medical devices with chamber volumes of 24 and 100 liters.
"Today, our enterprise holds about 90% of the domestic market for sterilization and disinfection equipment, and in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, the Vitebsk plant is among the top three manufacturers of such products," noted Gennady Azarov.
In addition, this year the plant plans to master the production of its own developed outdoor LED lights – this is a new area in the enterprise's production portfolio. The range of plastic products will be developed by expanding the assortment of industrial containers, and launching the production of a modular grate used for lawn covering. The plant is completing the development of modifications for cheese ripening containers, which are in high demand in the Russian and Western European markets.
The Vitebsk Television Plant "Vityaz" was founded in 1976. In 2010, the enterprise was corporatized with a 100% state share in the authorized capital. Today, JSC "Vityaz" is a diversified enterprise, developing 26 types of activities, including the production of television and household appliances, medical equipment.
