At a recent exhibition in the regional center, the Vitebsk enterprise presented a prototype of a promising development for the first time – the "Vityaz 32LCD861 — 7DC Smart" television. While pursuing production diversification, the domestic manufacturer, nevertheless, does not forget its once primary specialization, using any opportunity to delight consumers with new television technology.

Following the current trend of close integration of digital television with the Internet, "Vityaz" has replenished its model range with a "smart" TV (this is how "smart" is translated from English). As Taras Klimchenko, the leading design engineer of the enterprise, told "Vitebskiye Vesti", the new development, in addition to supporting analog and digital television, is equipped with smart technologies, meaning it is effectively turned into a computer. The product uses the Android operating system and a single-core AMLogic processor (this is a basic version; subsequently, the developers have provided for the possibility of installing 2 and 4 cores on board). The model can work with a wide range of peripheral devices, including a webcam, etc. Internet connection is via Wi-Fi or a 3G modem. With the help of a smart TV, you can download a lot of applications from the Internet for any taste, and therefore, significantly expand its capabilities.

Traditionally, «Vityaz» paid special attention to the development of the remote control, equipping it with good and convenient navigation through the system menu. The device has two working sides: the top panel houses the TV receiver controls and switching to cursor mode, while the other side features a standard computer keyboard in a miniature version.

The new model may appear on store shelves as early as next year, if the manufacturer's financial capabilities allow.
