On the organization of trade in school supplies

Since July 15 of the current year, retail businesses in the region have organized extended sales of goods for schoolchildren, including exhibitions, sales, and promotions with price reductions.

Currently, the retail network of the region offers a wide range of clothing, footwear for school-aged children, school and stationery supplies, and leather goods.

The estimated cost of a minimum set of school supplies for primary school children ranges from 240 to 650 rubles, and for high school children – from 275 to 700 rubles.

School supplies can be purchased in retail outlets on installment plans, credit (for up to 12 months), as well as with bank cards such as "Halva", "Magnit", "Karta Pokupok", "Karta FUM", etc.

On August 24, 2019, specialized school fairs will be held in the cities of Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk with the participation of industrial, trade, and public catering organizations.
