The volume of housing construction in the Miory district will be increased 4 times in 2020
The volume of housing construction in the Miory district will significantly increase: in 2020 alone, it will grow 4 times, said the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee Igor Kuznetsov.
According to him, this year the volume of housing under construction in the district will amount to 5 thousand sq. m. It is planned that in 2020 it will grow to 20 thousand sq. m. The same amount is planned to be built in the following years.
"Serious construction plans are primarily associated with the construction of a white tin production plant, which will create more than 600 jobs. Its launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year," explained the chairman of the district executive committee. He also noted that by a decision of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, the area of the district center has already been increased by 80 hectares. The territory of the metal rolling plant and 59 hectares for housing construction have been included within the city limits.
The creation of a powerful production facility, completely new for the entire country, has led to the implementation of another major investment project here for the construction of a high-tech cardiology center according to European standards. The additional profile of the medical institution will be early cancer diagnosis. The new facility will be inter-district in nature: its service area will include 140 thousand people living in the Miory, Braslav, Sharkovshchina, Verkhnedvinsk and Glubokoye districts. In addition to providing emergency and planned specialized care to the population of these districts, the center will focus on exporting medical services to foreign citizens. The cost of the investment project is estimated at $100 million (excluding equipment). It is expected that the design and estimate documentation for it will be ready by the end of the year.
The plan also includes the construction of a rehabilitation center where patients of the cardiology center can recover, and the construction of a hotel complex with a spa area. "I am sure that with the development of the economy, other projects will follow," added Igor Kuznetsov.
