The competition "Best Agro-Estate of the Year 2012 of Vitebsk Region" has been announced

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, in conjunction with OJSC "Belagroprombank" and the Belarusian Public Association "Rural Tourism", is holding the competition "Best Agro-Ecotourism Estate of the Vitebsk Region 2012".

The competition is open to agro-ecotourism entities: individuals residing in rural areas, small towns, and maintaining personal subsidiary plots, as well as agricultural organizations providing agro-ecotourism services in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 372 of June 2, 2006 "On Measures for the Development of Agro-Ecotourism in the Republic of Belarus", registered in the Vitebsk region.

The competition is open and will be held in the following nominations:

"Preservation of Belarusian Traditions"; "Healthy Lifestyle"; "Hospitality"; "Green Estate"; "Style and Harmony".

To participate in the competition, agro-ecotourism entities must submit the following documents to the departments of education, sports and tourism of city/district executive committees (at their place of registration):

no later than September 19, 2013:

- application for participation in the competition;

- documents (materials) that allow determining the participant's compliance with the criteria of the declared nomination;

- diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation;

- information on professional training (participation in seminars,
trainings, internships in agro-ecotourism, etc.);

- advertising brochures, catalogs;

- photo albums showcasing the entity's activities in the field of agro-ecotourism;

- documents confirming quantitative indicators of activity in the field of agro-ecotourism (information on contracts for the provision of agro-ecotourism services concluded in the reporting year, with a mark from the tax authority).

- other materials.

Winners of the competition will be awarded commemorative prizes and diplomas. The official award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the competition will be held in a solemn setting with the invitation of the competition partners and media representatives.

Winners of the regional competition will take part in the already traditional republican competition, held by OJSC "Belagroprombank" jointly with NGO "Rural Tourism" in November-December 2013.
