The competition "Best Agro-Estate of the Year 2015 of Vitebsk Region" has been announced. The deadline for submitting applications is October 6.

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, in conjunction with OJSC "Belagroprombank" – Vitebsk Regional Branch, plans to hold the regional competition "Best Agro-Ecotourism Estate of the Vitebsk Region 2015".

Subjects of agro-ecotourism can participate in the competition: individuals residing in rural areas, small urban settlements, and engaged in personal subsidiary farming, as well as agricultural organizations providing services in the field of agro-ecotourism in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 372 of June 2, 2006 "On Measures for the Development of Agro-Ecotourism in the Republic of Belarus", registered in the Vitebsk region.

The competition is open and will be held in the following five nominations:

"Preservation of Belarusian Traditions", "Healthy Lifestyle", "Hospitality", "Eco-Estate of the Year", "Best Start".

To participate in the competition, agro-ecotourism subjects must submit the following documents no later than October 6, 2016 to the departments of education, sports and tourism of city/district executive committees (at the place of registration):

- an application for participation in the competition;

- documents confirming the quantitative indicators of activity in the field of agro-ecotourism (information on agreements for the provision of services in the field of agro-ecotourism concluded in the reporting year 2015, with a mark from the tax authority);

- documents (materials) that allow determining the participant's compliance with the criteria of the declared nomination;

- diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation;

- information on professional training (participation in seminars, trainings, internships in agro-ecotourism, etc.);

- advertising brochures, catalogs;

- photo albums revealing the subject's activity in the field of agro-ecotourism;

- documents confirming the quantitative indicators of activity in the field of agro-ecotourism (information on agreements for the provision of services in the field of agro-ecotourism concluded in the reporting year, with a mark from the tax authority);

- other materials.

An authoritative jury, based on

the submitted materials will determine no more than three participants in each competition category, one of whom will become the winner, and the remaining two will be laureates.

The winners and laureates of the competition will be awarded commemorative prizes and diplomas. The official award ceremony will be held in a solemn atmosphere with the invitation of competition partners and media representatives.
