A competitive selection has been announced for holding exhibitions of scientific and technical achievements of the Vitebsk region during the VII International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects"

 

The open competitive selection is held in accordance with the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies dated August 23, 2012 No. 203 (as amended by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies dated December 27, 2016 No. 172).

Organizer: Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Information about the event: 

• holding exhibitions of scientific and technical achievements of the Vitebsk region during the VII International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects.", including "Innovative developments and innovative products" and "Partners and exporters of the Vitebsk region";
• expositions of cities and district centers of the Vitebsk region "Investment potential of the Vitebsk region. Innovative development of the region";
• business contact exchange "Promising scientific and technical developments and innovative development of regions";
• section "SEZ – as a promising platform for attracting foreign investment".

Date and venue of the event: May 17 – 18, 2018, Vitebsk.

Estimated financing volume: 45,000 rubles.

Participants of the open competitive selection may be:

- organizations whose property is in communal ownership, business entities whose shares (stakes in authorized capital) are in communal ownership;

- scientific, design, and engineering organizations of the Republic of Belarus, regardless of their subordination;

- organizations of the Republic of Belarus without departmental subordination;

- other organizations of the Republic of Belarus that are payers of profit tax to local budgets in the Vitebsk region.

Requirements for participants of the open competitive selection:

1. Experience in organizing exhibitions, including international ones, of at least 5 years;

2. Possession of own exhibition equipment (wall panels complete with metal frame, carpet, lighting fixtures, tables, chairs, waste bins, electrical equipment);

3. Absence of losses based on the results of work in 2017;

4. Co-financing of organized exhibitions from own funds in the amount of at least 30 percent of the funding amount from the innovation fund;

5. Condition for handing over the facility to the Customer – no later than 5:00 PM on May 16, 2018.

Innovation fund resources are allocated for:

- payment for rental of exhibition and exposition spaces;

- printing works for the production of the information and reference catalog "Innovations. Investments. Prospects."

- production of a film about the innovative potential of the Vitebsk region, for its presentation during the forum opening;

- purchase of stationery for participants and guests of the exhibition, calculated for 500 people;

- production and postal services for sending invitations to participants and guests of expositions and scientific and technical specialized exhibitions;

- production of frieze panels with inscriptions for exhibition exhibitors (up to 80 units);

- technical maintenance services for exhibition equipment for events;

- transport services for the delivery of exhibition equipment.

The Winner's own funds from the open competitive selection are allocated for:

- development of the overall concept of exhibition design, search and placement of exhibitors;

- conducting an advertising and information campaign;

- services for preparing invitations for honored guests and target visitors of exhibitions;

- event support by the Winner's staff (at least 7 people);

- organization of a fair of goods and services produced and provided by enterprises of the Vitebsk region;

- organization of catering for honored guests and exhibition participants (lunch, coffee break, reception);

- organization and conduct of the plenary session and thematic seminars;

- organization and conduct of a business contact exchange;

- organization and conduct of the official opening of exhibitions and cultural program for guests and exhibition participants;

- rental of additional decorative structures used for the general design of exhibitions;

- costs for security of outdoor exhibition areas;

- production of the forum program in an edition of 1000 copies;

- collection of information, coordination, design development, layout of the information and reference catalog "Innovations. Investments. Prospects.".

Documents required for participation:

- application for participation in the open competitive selection with justification of the need for funds from the innovation fund, and the directions of their use;

- certificate of state registration of the enterprise (organization);

- information confirming the absence of losses based on the results of work in 2017;

- information confirming the experience in holding exhibitions, including international ones;

- information confirming the availability of own exhibition equipment;

- preliminary estimate of the use of funds;

- other documents and materials related to the implementation of the event.

Deadlines and place for submitting documents: documents for participation in the open competitive selection are accepted from the moment of publication of this announcement until 5:00 PM on March 26, 2018 at the address: Vitebsk, Gogol St., 6, Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Economics Committee, office No. 307. 

Documents received after the specified deadline will not be considered.

The allocation of funds from the regional executive committee's innovation fund is carried out on a non-repayable basis and is carried out upon completion of work (provision of services) after the preparation and submission of the final cost estimate.

During the open competitive selection, the commission, when determining the winners, is guided by the criteria of the best

of the quality of the event's execution and the lowest price, as well as the possible economic, social, and other benefits of the events.

The commission's decision on the selection of the Event Winner is made by open voting by a majority of votes of the commission members present at the meeting and is formalized by the minutes of the commission meeting.

The results of the competitive selection are published on the official website of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee within 3 working days from the moment the decision on the selection of the Winner is made.
