The regional festival for people with disabilities will be held in Vitebsk
The regional festival-competition of arts and crafts for people with disabilities "Sunny World for All" will be held in Vitebsk from September 5 to 30. It is held for the second time and is characterized by a variety of creative expressions.
The Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local Lore (Town Hall) and the Ilya Repin Museum-Estate "Zdravnevo" will feature graphics, painting, wood and ceramic sculpture, soft toys, ceramics, embroidery, beadwork, straw crafts, textile art, and ribbon crafts. All these works are created by skilled hands of people with disabilities. The results of the competition will be announced on September 13. On this day, the winners will be awarded at the Town Hall.
Diplomas and commemorative gifts are provided by the travel agency "Ilva", CHTUP "Dubrava", "Megavrotex", the cosmetics store "Yves Rocher". Then, the event participants will go to Zdravnevo, where an excursion, master classes in painting, graphics, beadwork, and tasting of products from Vitebsk enterprises will be organized for them. In particular, RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom", the confectionery plant "Vitba", SOOO "Dvinskbrovar", OAO "Vitebskaya Broiler Poultry Farm" will offer to try their products, and OAO "VitVin" will treat them to tea.
About 100 people with disabilities will take part in the celebration.
