The regional tourist gathering of working youth is taking place in the Vitebsk region
– Those who rest well, work well. Therefore, such meetings are very important for young workers. I hope you will be able to show yourselves in all your glory, worthily representing your native region. You will make many new acquaintances, – said Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, who was present at the grand opening ceremony of the tourist rally. – The event is dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory. We must not forget the generation of Belarusians who allowed their descendants to live under a peaceful sky. To preserve freedom and independence in the current times, our people must be united and strong.
For two days, a rich competition and sports program awaits the vacationers. In particular, the organizers have offered participants time-tested classics: competitions for the best wall newspaper, overcoming an obstacle course, artistic cycling, and amateur performances. There will also be fun starts ("Log Throwing", "Valenok Throwing", and "Who is faster on a broom?"), a disco, and campfire gatherings. The highlight of the event will be an intellectual open-air, during which field versions of "Svoyá Igrá" and "What? Where? When?" will be held.
