The renovated Belorusneft gas station near the village of Muravnichi, Tolochin district, has been put into operation
This completes the renovation of all four gas stations of the enterprise located on the main international highway of the country within the Vitebsk region.
At the grand opening ceremony, the chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, noted that modern multifunctional roadside service facilities are needed not only by drivers and tourists. They help solve the problem of population employment in agricultural regions by providing jobs with good salaries. Now it is necessary to move deeper into the Vitebsk region, towards the borders of Latvia and Lithuania, and improve the quality of roads. By the way, for next year there are agreements on the reconstruction of the highway in the direction of the Baltic countries.
– It is necessary that new facilities of various purposes are introduced more often in each region of the oblast: we need jobs so that people are satisfied and young people stay in their small homeland, – emphasized Nikolay Nikolayevich.
The team of gas station No. 59, consisting of 18 people, was congratulated on the significant event by Sergey Bondar, a representative of the concern "Belneftekhim", and Yuri Onanchenko, head of the production association "Belorusneft" department. They wished it to be the best on the M1 highway, on which there are over 40 gas stations of all forms of ownership from Brest to the Russian border.
The general contractor for the reconstruction was CJSC "Promenerhostroy", which coped with the task in 5.5 months instead of the standard 7.5. As Alexander Kapshul, director of RUP "Belorusneft – Vitebskoblnefteprodukt", said, the task was to complete the reconstruction before the start of the II European Games, and the builders did not fail, completing the planned scope of work, significantly exceeding the deadlines with high quality. 3.5 million rubles of own funds were invested in the modernization.

To expand the range of services, a vacuum cleaner, a tire inflation station, and guest parking for buses, trucks, cars, including vehicles for people with disabilities, are provided. In the near future, the gas station will be equipped with a charging station for electric vehicles.
After the reconstruction, the retail area has quadrupled in size. Accordingly, the range of related goods has also expanded, which are necessary not only for comfortable travel but also for everyday use. In the cafeteria, "Zauzhdy TsiKAVA" (this is the brand of "Belorusneft"), you can have a meal, relax with a cup of coffee on a cozy sofa or at the bar counter, charge your phone, and use free Wi-Fi.
In the children's corner, little ones can draw with colored pencils. A special area with a changing table for infants is designated for young mothers.
Currently, "Belorusneft – Vitebskoblnefteprodukt" operates 72 gas stations. It is worth noting that the reconstruction of gas station No. 59 was the final stage of the renovation of a complex of two mirror-image gas stations. In November, gas station No. 60, located on the opposite side of the road, was modernized. Now, drivers traveling in both directions on the highway do not need to make a U-turn on the busy highway. By the way, after the reconstruction of gas station No. 60, the sales of petroleum products and related goods increased by 60%.
The car of the first customer of the new gas station was refueled for free, as is tradition. Pensioner Fyodor Pitkevich from Tolochin, a bus driver with 42 years of experience, received 30 liters of gasoline as a gift.
The "Belorusneft" gas station network is the largest in the country and consists of over 500 gas stations. For participants of the loyalty program, cars are raffled monthly, discounts are constantly available, refueling statistics are kept, and other bonuses are provided.
By the way. Next week, on City Day in Vitebsk, RUP "Belorusneft – Vitebskoblnefteprodukt" will open a new gas station located in the Bilevo microdistrict on 33rd Army Street.
