The renovated building of the inter-district department of the State Committee of Forensic Expertise was opened in Orsha
The solemn ceremony was attended by the chairmen of the regional council of deputies Vladimir Terentyev and the State Committee of Forensic Examinations Andrey Shved.
Vladimir Vladimirovich noted that the renewal and improvement of the material and technical base of the structural divisions of the SCSE increases the quality of research and allows for effective assistance to law enforcement agencies in identifying persons guilty of committing crimes.
As Andrey Shved emphasized, the Orsha department is one of the largest in the department. Capital repair and technical equipping of the premises took about two years, including at the expense of funds earned by the regional department of the SCSE from providing paid services. The modernization of the building in Orsha is one of the stages of development of expert activity, and the mastering of the most modern methodologies. In 2018 alone, the reconstruction of 18 similar facilities began in Belarus.
After cutting the red ribbon, honored guests were able to see the quality of the construction and installation work carried out and learn about the prospects for using the latest equipment.
In the current year, employees of the Orsha inter-district department of the SCSE conducted about 4.4 thousand forensic, forensic medical and other examinations for criminal prosecution bodies and courts.
