The renovated bus station opens in Braslav

August 29, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The bus station in Braslav, renovated after reconstruction, opens today, the Braslav District Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The reconstruction of one of the most important facilities for the district has been underway since 2009. During this time, about Br4 billion was spent on the repair of the building. The financing was carried out from the regional budget. In the renovated bus station, hardly anyone will recognize the old building: the facility has a modern look and is two to three times larger in area, it has a buffet, a comfortable waiting room, rooms for mothers and children, and rest rooms for drivers. People with physical disabilities will also feel comfortable here: the bus station is equipped with the necessary elements of an accessible environment. Technical equipment has been carried out at the highest level. In particular, a video surveillance system and electronic displays have been installed in the premises. The grand opening ceremony of the bus station will take place this afternoon with the participation of representatives of local authorities, motor transport and construction organizations, and the public. Then, a festive concert will be held for those gathered. -0-
