Official visit of the Vitebsk region delegation to Germany

From April 11 to 17, 2010, the official visit of the delegation of the Vitebsk region to Germany (Leipzig) took place for the first time (officials of the regional executive committee, heads and deputies of enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region). The head of the delegation is the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, O.S. Matskevich.

During the visit, the official delegation held negotiations at the Leipzig City Hall with the Deputy Mayor of Leipzig for Economic Affairs, Mr. U. Albrecht, where the parties familiarized themselves with the economic opportunities of Leipzig and Vitebsk. Mr. U. Albrecht was handed a written appeal from the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, A.N. Kosinets, with a draft agreement on trade and economic cooperation between Vitebsk and Leipzig, which is proposed to be signed during the return visit of the Leipzig delegation to Vitebsk during the international investment forum in Vitebsk and the international festival "Slavianski Bazaar" in July 2010.
