The restriction on the import of Belarusian dairy products is not related to product quality - the head of the enterprise

June 14, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The restriction on the import of Belarusian dairy products into the Russian Federation is not related to the quality of the products, Ivan Yukhno, Director of the open joint-stock company "Postavy Dairy Plant," expressed this opinion in an interview with a BELTA correspondent. The enterprise supplies cheese and butter to the neighboring country. The plant received Russian certificates in accordance with the established legal procedure, on time, and there were no remarks regarding the quality of the products. Wholesale buyers have also never expressed any claims regarding the quality of products or the fulfillment of contractual obligations, the director said. According to him, the restriction on the import of Belarusian products caused bewilderment among Russian partners as well, and they are not yet intending to abandon cooperation with Postavy manufacturers. "We have not yet received any notifications about the suspension of concluded contracts and are preparing documents for sending the next batch of products for export on June 15," Ivan Yukhno said. "The prohibitive measures taken by Rospotrebnadzor have nothing to do with the quality of Belarusian products and will negatively affect not only Belarusian but also Russian businesses and consumers," he is confident. OJSC "Postavy Dairy Plant" exports about 60% of its products to the Russian Federation. In case of suspension of export supplies, the enterprise will be forced to reduce production volumes and cut funding for investment and social programs. -0-
