A giant bicycle will be built by flash mob participants in Polotsk

In Polotsk, flash mob participants will build a giant bicycle during the European Mobility Week, the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee reported.

Polotsk residents will join the European event from September 16-21. A series of interesting events will be held in the city to draw attention to transport alternatives to cars. Thus, on September 17, confident cyclists are invited to participate in the city cycling race-criterion "My Legs - My Speed," which will start at 11:00 AM on F. Skorina Avenue. Beginners are expected at Freedom Square for a bicycle riding master class and a cycling lesson "Road Behavior and Riding Culture," during which they promise to teach simple tricks.

A youth race on bicycles, scooters, roller skates, and any other "green" modes of transport will take place on September 21. After the competition, those interested will be able to participate in a grand flash mob: organizers invite everyone to become part of a figure depicting a giant bicycle. It is already known that more than 300 students and working youth will join the event. Another interesting event of this day will be a bicycle excursion for schoolchildren "Polotsk in Legends."
