About 10 tons of hay were saved by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units during a fire in the hay storage of RUP "Vitplementerprise" located on the outskirts of the regional center. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press secretary of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Marina Fando. The hay fire was discovered by the enterprise's watchman. By the time rescuers arrived, the fire had spread over an area of about 60 sq.m. As a result, about 12 tons of hay were destroyed, and the slate roof of the building was damaged. The total area of the frame-type building is 200 sq.m, and at the time of the fire, about 22 tons of hay were stored there. Arson is being considered as the probable cause of the fire, and the district police department is conducting an investigation.-0-
