About 100 facilities are planned to be renovated in Shumilino for the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki-2021".
As reported by Ruslan Nastyushkin, Deputy Chairman for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Shumilino District Executive Committee, a public discussion of the architectural and planning concept for the reconstruction of the central park is currently underway. Among other things, it includes various children's and military-patriotic zones. The stadium will also be renovated – it will feature four running tracks with modern artificial turf, new stands for 250 seats, a workout area, and a hockey rink. Currently, a major overhaul of the Shumilino District Culture Center is in progress, which will cost almost 4 million rubles. The renovation will affect two schools, four kindergartens in the district center and one in Obol, the polyclinic of the Central Regional Hospital with the replacement of two freight-passenger elevators, the museum, the library, and the building of the Territorial Center for Social Services.
In the housing stock, major repairs are planned for 16 apartment buildings and current repairs for 28. By the way, a new 40-apartment building is under construction in Shumilino, which is scheduled for commissioning by "Dazhynki". The list of improvements for courtyard areas was compiled taking into account the wishes and requests of citizens. Last year, good progress was made in updating road surfaces and sidewalks.
All enterprises and organizations in the district center will renovate and improve their facilities. Among them is the railway station building.
