About 2,000 recruits from the Vitebsk region will join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Belarus in the autumn conscription
— The main objectives of conscripting citizens for active military service and service in the reserve are the fulfillment of their constitutional duty and training in military occupational specialties, — said Alexey Nenakhov, Head of the Military Conscription Department of the Regional Military Commissariat. — I hope that the new recruits will become worthy successors to the glorious traditions laid down by previous generations of Fatherland defenders.
Alexey Igorevich clarified that sending the young men to their service locations is the culmination of the conscription campaign, preceded by months of meticulous work to select candidates capable of joining the ranks due to their physical and moral-business qualities.
In recent years, every second conscript has been found fit for military service based on the results of medical examinations.
