April 4, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. About 200 fairs will be held in April in the Vitebsk region, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Trade and Services Department told a BELTA correspondent. With the arrival of the spring season, fairs and sales of goods at reduced prices will be held weekly on weekends in the region to fully satisfy the population's consumer demand for goods and services. Traditionally, they will be organized in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and district centers. Residents of the region should pay attention to the themes of spring sales. Thus, on April 9 and 16, garden and vegetable tools, seeds, seedlings, and saplings, as well as mineral fertilizers will be offered in a wide assortment. Pre-Easter fairs will be held in the region on April 23. On this day, food, industrial, and trade enterprises will present a large selection of holiday products and non-food items. Catering facilities will also participate in the fairs. The trade department noted that from May 7 to 9, trade enterprises of the region will organize mobile trade at all venues for festive events. -0-
