About 3,000 participants will gather in Vitebsk for the BRSM marathon "Make Your Choice"

About 3,000 young people will gather in Vitebsk on September 6 for the BRSM marathon "Make Your Choice," the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Representatives of the student team movement, youth law enforcement units, the "Kind Heart" volunteer movement, activists of the BRSM Public Association, the "Belaya Rus" Republican Public Association, and creative youth (laureates and winners of competitions, festivals, athletes, representatives of youth subcultures, and famous public figures) will take part in the events of the "Make Your Choice" project. The project's motto is the line "You choose the time for your watch yourself!" from a song, the meaning of which is very relevant for young people today. The marathon program, which will take place at the "Energiya" cultural and entertainment center, emphasizes the presentation of youth movement projects that demonstrate the range of opportunities provided by the state for the development of youth initiative. The marathon is filled with many bright events and original ideas, includes a large cultural and leisure program, festivals of modern youth culture, exhibitions of scientific and technical creativity, and, of course, youth discos in the form of creative competitions. The marathon will conclude with a grand youth music show "Battle of DJs" from the "Pilot-FM" radio station of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and the "BelMUZTV" television program. DJs from all over the country will come to conquer the dance Olympus of the capital, and the audience will have the opportunity to make their choice by voting for the best DJs. At the same time, an obligatory condition for all participants of the musical "Battle" is the inclusion of DJ remixes of popular songs about Belarus, as well as songs on youth themes in the program. Next, the youth marathon will travel to Mogilev and Gomel. The project is aimed at creating conditions for supporting and developing youth initiative, fostering national and civic consciousness in the younger generation, and developing an active life and civic stance. -0-
