About 30% of inspections of economic entities in the Vitebsk region in 2010 will be joint
February 5, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. About 30% of inspections of economic entities in the Vitebsk region, included in the coordination plan of control activities for the first half of 2010, are joint - conducted by control and supervisory bodies, Vadim Zaryankin, head of the department for control of executive authorities and coordination of control bodies of the KGB of the Vitebsk region, told reporters at a press conference today, answering a question from a BELTA correspondent.
Conducting coordinated inspections reduces the burden on the economic entity and is a good indicator, according to Vadim Zaryankin. The coordination plan includes more than 5,000 entities for inspection in the Vitebsk region. Changes to it are possible and are aimed either at excluding inspections or at postponing them, provided they are agreed upon with all co-executors. As Vadim Zaryankin noted, changes to the KGB website, where the plan is posted, are made weekly.
The head of the department is confident that the coordination plan, which was created in accordance with Decree No. 510 "On improving control (supervisory) activities in the Republic of Belarus," is a phased movement towards minimizing inspections and streamlining the activities of control and supervisory bodies - their activities are becoming transparent and controllable. In addition, an economic entity, knowing the dates of its inspection in advance, can plan the activities of its employees. "At the same time, there are isolated cases when managers, upon learning of an inspection, try to disappear for a while under plausible pretexts, but this is not a way to get rid of the inspection, as it can be postponed to the second half of the year," added Vadim Zaryankin.
In 2009, the KGB of the Vitebsk region conducted 296 inspections, which is 2.4 times less than in 2008. While maintaining the trend of decreasing the number of inspections, the amount of recovered funds increased by 1.6 times, amounting to Br13.7 billion. Administrative penalties were applied taking into account the degree of guilt and the financial situation of the inspected entities. Savings and prevention of state fund payments amounted to Br0.5 billion. 1699 violators were brought to justice, including 15 people who were dismissed from their positions. -0-
