About 30 rescuers took an oath of allegiance to the Motherland in Vitebsk
On the eve of Rescuer's Day, about three dozen newly recruited employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took an oath of allegiance to the Motherland in the regional museum of Hero of the Soviet Union Minay Shmyryov, in the presence of their relatives and friends.
Congratulating his colleagues on this significant event, the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel of the Internal Service Sergey Meshkin, noted that they took the oath in a symbolic place in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
– After these words, you bear responsibility to the Belarusian people and must understand that sometimes a rescuer, while performing their duties, risks their own life, – said Sergey Meshkin.
He wished the employees more victories and voiced his life position: there are no situations without a way out.
An excursion to the museum was organized for those who took the oath.
