About 30,000 applicants will take the CT in the Vitebsk region

The most exciting time is beginning for school graduates – the time of centralized testing and admission to higher educational institutions. As usual, the process will be strictly controlled to eliminate any violations and give the most knowledgeable and deserving students the opportunity to become university students.

In the Dvina region, 4 testing centers have been organized this year: at the Vitebsk State Technological University, Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov, Polotsk State University, and Orsha State Mechanical-Economic College (in 2015, as a reminder, there were 6 such centers). The commissions for monitoring the preparation and conduct of entrance examinations to universities are headed by Vadim Zaryankin, Chairman of the Committee of State Control of the region (at VSU and the Orsha college), Alexander Poznyak, Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Chief Inspector for the Vitebsk region (at PSU), and Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies (at VSTU).

The registration of applicants for participation in the CT was carried out from May 2 to June 1. As reported by the KSС, in the Dvina region, there are 29,345 people wishing to undergo testing this year, which is 452 people less than in 2015.

This type of entrance examination starts on June 13 and ends on the 27th. The start of the CT for all subjects is at 11:00 AM. Registration for participation in testing on the reserve day (in case of a valid reason for absence) is from June 28 to July 1 at the Vitebsk State Technological University. The CT venue on the reserve day (July 5) is the Belarusian State University.

In addition to the permanent staff of the KGC, more than 400 additional people will be involved to ensure control directly in each auditorium during the entrance examinations. These are representatives of local executive and administrative bodies, educational institutions, and the "BRSM" youth union.

Inquiries from citizens on controversial and problematic issues of centralized testing are accepted on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM by the contact phone numbers of the "hotlines":
