About 4,000 students from the Vitebsk region will take part in the third work semester

About 4 thousand students from the Vitebsk region will take part in the third labor semester, the Vitebsk regional committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Currently, 66 construction crews consisting of young men have already been formed. The young people will have to work at more than 115 sites in the region. For example, with their help, residential buildings will be erected in Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Lepel, Verkhnedvinsk, Braslav, Postavy, dairy farms in the districts of the region, the Ice Sports Palace in Orsha, a secondary school, a shopping center on Beshenkovichskoye Highway, the "Marko-City" business center, a kindergarten in Vitebsk, and the reconstruction of Gagarin Street in the regional center will be carried out. Members of 19 pedagogical detachments will improve their professional skills in health resorts, three service detachments will work in sports equipment rental at popular recreation spots in Vitebsk, and will also be engaged in sewing uniforms for construction detachments. Girls and young men from 27 agricultural detachments will have to work hard in the autumn: harvesting and sorting root crops, and harvesting flax await them. In addition, it is planned that some supporters of useful summer holidays will go to work in different regions of Russia as part of consolidated republican student detachments.
