About 50 enterprises from Belarus and Russia will take part in the "Slavic Kaleidoscope" exhibition in Vitebsk

July 14, Vitebsk /Corr. BELTA/. About 50 enterprises from Belarus and Russia will take part in the X International Universal Exhibition-Fair "Slavic Kaleidoscope", which will be held in Vitebsk on July 14-16. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Valery Valyushkin, Deputy General Director of the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2009, the Vitebsk branch significantly intensified its work to strengthen interaction with the border regions of Russia, so enterprises from the Smolensk and Pskov regions will actively participate in the exhibition. The universal nature of the exhibition's theme provides an opportunity for exhibitors to introduce potential buyers and partners to a wide range of goods and services. This year, the organizers intend to focus on products from light industry enterprises, and the issue of organizing fashion shows of new clothing models is being worked out. The business program of "Slavic Kaleidoscope" includes a contact and cooperation exchange and business meetings. The main topic of business communication will be the discussion of cooperation prospects and opportunities for implementing joint investment projects of Russian and Belarusian enterprises. At the same time, emphasis will be placed on attracting the attention of Russian participants to the business potential of small towns in Belarus. The main goal of the exhibition project is to develop economic and trade cooperation between Belarusian enterprises and partners from near and far abroad. Over the years of the exhibition, its participants have included more than 600 business representatives from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Moldova, as well as many regions of Russia from the Urals to Kaliningrad. The Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, is the organizer of the international exhibition-fair "Slavic Kaleidoscope". -0-
