About 500 young men and women are representing youth cultures at the "Slavianski Bazaar" today.

July 14, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Youth Day is being held today at the XXI "Slavianski Bazaar". About 500 young men and women have gathered in the festival Vitebsk to present their initiatives and subcultures as fully as possible. This was announced today at a press conference by Igor Buzovsky, First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "There are about 500 young people directly participating in youth events, who have come not only from regional centers and Minsk, but also from small towns," said Igor Buzovsky. "Many young people have also arrived in Vitebsk as fans and spectators." The main events of Youth Day are taking place today throughout the day on Victory Square. Here, you can get a master class from graffiti and body art artists, beatbox performers, breakdance, locking, tecktonik, house, jazz-funk dancers, and other youth trends. Fans of extreme sports demonstrate dizzying tricks and virtuoso performance techniques: bike trial riders and rollerbladers, skateboarders and tracers. Anyone can visit the motorcycle exhibition organized by the public association "Motorcycle Club "Road Hounds" (Vitebsk), and the bravest can even "mount iron horses" and ride around the festival city. A long-awaited event of Youth Day, which will undoubtedly discover new names in the world of dance, will be the II International Youth Festival "Fire of Dance-2012", and the culmination of the youth festival will be a gala concert with the participation of the winners of the dance marathon, the direct and charming participants of the children's studio "Klyaksy", the group "Bai-City" and other creative groups and star participants. Youth Day will conclude with a "rock-style party" from DJ Mikis, a DJ from the radio station "Pilot-FM". As Igor Buzovsky noted in an interview with a BELTA correspondent, the success of the large disco held the previous evening on the same cultural platform with the participation of youth stars DJ Alex Gaudino (Italy), DJ M.E.G, DJ Nejtrino (Russia) testifies to the interest in Youth Day events. "This year, Youth Day is distinguished by new ideas and nominations in the competition events. We have tried to make this day as interesting and bright as possible. Everyone who visits Victory Square today will be able to appreciate how successful we were," said the First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee. -0-
