About 500 utility property objects were involved in economic circulation in various ways in 2010 in the Vitebsk region, the regional territorial fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" informed a BELTA correspondent. Last year, the fund announced over 100 auctions for the sale of more than 300 state-owned real estate objects. At 36 successful auctions, 144 real estate objects and lease rights for 52 land plots were sold for a total amount of over Br4.2 billion, including just over 100 objects that found new owners at auctions with an initial sale price set at one basic unit (Br35 thousand). City and district executive committees sold 6 isolated non-residential premises and utility real estate objects at auctions for a total amount of over Br2 billion. In addition, during two successful auctions, rights to conclude lease agreements for 2 land plots were sold for about Br7.8 million for the construction of roadside service facilities. -0-
