Approximately 90% of goods exported by enterprises of the Vitebsk region are processed electronically
December 22, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. About 90% of goods exported by enterprises of the Vitebsk region are processed electronically. This was announced today at a briefing by the head of the Vitebsk customs Gennady Puchkov, a BELTA correspondent reports.
More than 100 exporting enterprises located in the operational zone of the Vitebsk customs have appreciated and actively use the advantages of modern information technologies. "Today, the Vitebsk customs has all the opportunities for 100% electronic processing of export supplies, and after resolving the relevant organizational issues, we will reach this indicator," noted Gennady Puchkov.
A large share of electronic customs documents is presented for customs clearance by the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Beltamozhservice", through which up to 75% of business entities carry out electronic declaration. The Vitebsk customs has established close cooperation with Belarusian Railways, with which a technology for electronic processing of goods transported by rail has been developed and approved.
Among the first participants in the electronic goods declaration system were OJSC "Keramzit Gravel Plant of Novolukoml" and RUPP "Stankozavod Krasny Borets" (Orsha), which have been fully processing export supplies electronically since March and June of this year, respectively. According to the deputy director of the Novolukoml enterprise, Georgy Lazarashvili, the transition to electronic export declaration allows the enterprise to save Br3-5 million monthly. As noted by the head of the foreign economic relations department of Stankozavod "Krasny Borets", Alexander Maslenkov, working in the electronic export declaration system allows saving up to 80% of the time resources of the enterprise's specialists involved in customs clearance. "The products of our enterprise are present in the markets of 120 countries, so electronic declaration has become a serious tool for us to reduce the time for processing and delivery of export products," he noted.
In addition, since July, the Vitebsk customs has begun registering statistical export declarations submitted electronically, and electronic declarations are also being processed for operations under the customs regimes of re-export and temporary export. -0-
