About a hundred teenagers will take part in the city cycling tournament "Victory" in Vitebsk on September 10

The city cycling tournament "Victory", dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will bring together students of Vitebsk schools on September 10, the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. About 100 high school teenagers, as well as all interested young people, will gather at the Summer Amphitheater to refresh their knowledge of traffic rules at the beginning of the school year, compete in their theoretical knowledge and practical cycling skills. Young cyclists will compete in obstacle maneuvering, speed driving, an intellectual quiz, and a "Road Situation" competition. The tournament will be held in two age categories: teenagers aged 14-15 and 16-17. The winners in each category will be named by impartial traffic police inspectors. The event is designed to remind schoolchildren of their responsibility for their behavior on the road and to improve their knowledge of traffic rules. It is held as part of the next stage of the republican campaign "Together for Safety and Law and Order," which runs from August 30 to September 12. The organizers of the cycling tournament are the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM and the traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. -0-
