About a hundred hunting dog breeds will be showcased at the regional exhibition in Vitebsk

Around a hundred hunting dog breeds will be showcased at the regional exhibition in Vitebsk on September 17, as reported by the regional organizational structure of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen.

Dog owners from the entire region, as well as from Minsk, will gather at the Vitebsk "Lokomotiv" stadium. "Judging by the applications, about a hundred participants are expected. Thirteen different breeds will be presented: Laikas, Spaniels, Hounds, Labradors, Dachshunds, Fox Terriers, and so on. Such exhibitions usually take place without awarding titles. Owners come to socialize, exchange experiences, and get an assessment of their pets based on appearance and field diplomas with class assignments," explained Tatiana Lobkova, lead specialist in cynological work at the regional organizational structure of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen. Laikas and terriers, pointers and hounds will be judged by experts – judges of the highest republican and international categories. Spectators will have the opportunity to admire hunting dogs and receive advice from breeders on choosing and caring for a dog. The exhibition is organized by the regional organizational structure of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen.
