About a thousand activists of the BRSM of the Vitebsk region will be working on Labor Day

About 1,000 activists of the BRSM of the Vitebsk region will work on Labor Day, the second secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of the BRSM, Lyudmila Kapranova, told a BELTA correspondent. The May Day celebration for members of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union will be marked by the opening of the third labor semester. On this day, the solemn opening of regional headquarters of student teams will take place in all regions of the country. In Vitebsk, this event will be marked not only by thunderous applause from the organization's activists but also by intensive labor activities that will unfold on Victory Square and in the adjacent Park of Winners. About 100 young people will be engaged in landscaping and tidying up the area here so that by May 9, the square will appear before the veterans and participants of the parade in all its glory. Members of district and city BRSM organizations from other regions of the province will be engaged in similar work at various facilities. It is planned that about 1,000 people will be involved in this mass event, Lyudmila Kapranova added. -0-
