Olympic champion Vladislav Goncharov and coach Olga Vlasova became honorary citizens of Vitebsk

The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Vitebsk" has been awarded to Olympic trampoline champion Vladislav Goncharov and his coach Olga Vlasova. Information about this is posted on the website of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee.

The title was awarded by a joint resolution of the presidium of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies and the City Executive Committee to Olga Vlasova, senior coach-teacher of Vitebsk Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 1, and Vladislav Goncharov, a student-athlete of this institution, for their significant personal contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in Vitebsk. The coach was recognized "for high professionalism in training high-class athletes, including the champion of the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro," and the Olympic triumphator, respectively, "for high achievements in sports activities."
