Accommodation and catering facilities for participants of the II European Games in the Vitebsk region have been identified

Republican video conference of the organizing committee for the preparation of the II CIS Games under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko was held in Minsk. Specific places for accommodation and catering in the competition cities have been determined, said Alexander Khodorenko, head of the educational and sports work department of the sports and tourism department of the regional executive committee.

– In our regional center, the participants of the competitions will be accommodated and fed at the Vitebsk State Medical University, – said Alexander Nikolaevich. – In Orsha, athletes will be accommodated in the dormitories of the Orsha College of VSU named after P. Masherov, in the hotels "Orsha", the tourist and recreational complex "Orsha", and in the new hotel "Intens". They will be fed in the canteen of the aforementioned college, in the restaurant "Atmosfera" of the Ice Arena, in the hotel "Orsha" and in the cafe "Intens".

As the interlocutor added, before the start of the Games, sports facilities, accommodation and catering facilities for athletes will be inspected in the Vitebsk region, and repairs will be carried out if necessary. It is too early to talk about specific athletes who will participate from the Vitebsk region in the Games. The number of participating countries is also not exactly known. This information will likely become clear by mid-May.

Let us remind you that the II CIS Games will be held from August 4 to 14. Competitions in 20 sports will be held in all regions of the country. It is planned that in Vitebsk, competitions in Muay Thai will be held in the Summer Amphitheater from August 9 to 14, and in Orsha at the Ice Arena in boxing from August 4 to 13.
