Winners of the "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region" title for 2012 have been determined
Tomorrow, during the solemn assembly dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Vitebsk region, a ceremony will be held to award the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region" to the best representatives of various sectors of the region's national economy.
The region is currently developing steadily and dynamically, modernizing production facilities, strengthening its socio-economic potential, and attracting foreign partners. The priorities in the region's investment and innovation policy are the creation of new and re-equipment of old enterprises, the implementation of advanced methods for processing raw materials and materials, and the use of resource-saving and energy-efficient technologies in the production of competitive products.
All this is made possible by the residents of the region who work for the benefit of their native land. A significant contribution to the socio-economic development of our region was also made by the 100 workers who will be honored tomorrow in the Vitebsk Concert Hall. Through their labor, high professionalism, and creative approach to their work, they have achieved the most significant results in the sectors of the national economy. Their names were determined by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated January 26, 2013, No. 35 "On awarding the honorary title 'Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region'".
