The election programs of the candidates for President of Belarus have been published
In the newspaper "Zvyazda", the election programs are published in Belarusian, and in the newspaper "Respublika" - in Russian.
According to the regulation on the procedure for using mass media in the preparation and conduct of elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, approved by the Central Election Commission, each candidate for President has the right to free speeches on radio, television and to publish their election program in a newspaper.
The presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for January 26, 2025. The Central Election Commission has registered five candidates for President of the Republic of Belarus: incumbent President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Chairman of the Republican Party of Labor and Justice Alexander Khizhnyak, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich, individual entrepreneur Anna Kanopatskaya, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus Sergey Syrankov.
