An organizational meeting on the preparation for the Day of Belarusian Written Language was held in Horadok

An organizational meeting on the preparation for the Day of Belarusian Written Language in Gorodok was held at the district executive committee. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Information Igor Buzovsky, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov, Chairman of the District Executive Committee Petr Korobach, Head of the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Petr Podgursky, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Marina Novitskaya.

During the meeting, a number of organizational issues were considered, in particular, the functioning of the transport system and the organization of catering for guests and participants of the holiday.

— This event, the XXX Day of Belarusian Written Language, is an anniversary one. Therefore, special attention should be paid to its holding at the district, regional, and republican levels. Based on what I have seen and heard, I understand today that the work is already underway, — said Igor Buzovsky.

Igor Ivanovich also noted that the work being carried out, announcements of upcoming events, and organizational aspects should all be accessible to citizens long before the event. Guests should have time to familiarize themselves with the program and adjust their plans.

At the end of the official part of the meeting, the leadership visited the main social facilities located in the city center, which will become the main venue for the festive events.
