The Finberg Orchestra will give a charity concert for veterans today at "Slavianski Bazaar"
July 12, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The National Concert Orchestra of Belarus, conducted by People's Artist of Belarus Mikhail Finberg, will give a charity concert for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and labor today at the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," the festival's press center informed a BELTA correspondent.
The program is titled "From Moscow to Brest." There are no analogues to the artistic project that the ensemble has prepared for the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. And not only because it includes the best wartime songs performed by Utyosov and Shulzhenko, and later by Kobzon, Gurchenko, and Leshchenko. The musicians and performers of the renowned orchestra have prepared a true theatrical costumed performance that makes the soul sing and weep. This program is a lesson in patriotism for the younger generation of Belarus, which confidently strides along the path of independence.
The program will also feature songs that few remember and whose sheet music has not been preserved. -0-
