Orsha and the Moscow region's Dubna signed a memorandum on scientific cooperation

A historic moment on Republic Day was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation by the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Nikolai Lisovsky, and the Head of the city of Dubna, Moscow Region, Vyacheslav Mukhin. Now, the map of friendship of the Orsha region includes 22 points, 12 of which are cities of the Russian Federation.

Dubna can rightfully be called a leading city not only in the Moscow region. Over the past two decades, it has not only managed to preserve its potential as a unique scientific and industrial center but also to multiply it, making it the basis for economic growth and socio-cultural development. It is one of the few Russian cities where the share of high-tech products in the total volume of production exceeds 70 percent, where new production facilities are actively being built, and the total volume of income from new enterprises has practically reached the indicators of traditional city-forming "giants." Dubna is also a city of successful people.

After signing the memorandum, the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Nikolai Lisovsky, and the Head of the city of Dubna, Vyacheslav Mukhin, expressed confidence that the ties between the two cities will develop fruitfully in various fields of activity: economy, trade, science and technology, culture, education, sports, tourism, and others. Vyacheslav Mukhin thanked the district leadership for the warm welcome and shared his impressions of Orsha, calling it a clean, beautiful, cozy city inhabited by sincere, responsive people.
