Orshaagroprommash has begun shipping equipment to Venezuela

Orshaagroprommash OJSC has begun shipping agricultural machinery to Venezuela, Deputy Director of the enterprise Nikolai Kupava told a BELTA correspondent. Two major contracts for the production of 119 machines for applying liquid organic fertilizers and their modifications were concluded in December last year and April 2010. The machinery was manufactured throughout the current year. Its shipment began in September: the first 8 containers, containing 24 units of machinery, have been sent to the customer. Currently, the enterprise is working on forming a portfolio of orders for 2011. There are already certain developments and agreements, which are planned to be contracted in the coming months. From January to August, the enterprise produced products worth Br9.9 billion, or 179% compared to the same period last year. Machinery worth $101.8 thousand was exported during this period. Deliveries were made to Venezuela, Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and other countries. Labor productivity for eight months was 153.5%. The energy saving indicator is minus 43%.
