Orsha Poultry Farm has mastered the production of melange

August 30, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Orsha Poultry Farm OJSC has mastered the production of melange, the enterprise's director Anatoly Pashkevich told a BELTA correspondent. The implementation of the egg processing workshop modernization project began in 2009. During this time, the poultry farm carried out the reconstruction of the production premises and acquired French equipment worth Br2.3 billion, with a capacity designed for processing 80 thousand eggs per shift. Currently, the line is utilized at 90%. It produces egg powder and a new type of product for the enterprise - melange, widely used in the production of meat, dairy, and confectionery products. In addition, the equipment allows for the separation of egg white and yolk. Under the technical re-equipment program, two poultry workshops are also being reconstructed at the poultry farm this year. Since the beginning of the year, Br2 billion has been allocated for these purposes. All work is planned to be completed by October. The result of the project will be an increase in the laying hen population from 36 thousand to 56 thousand in each workshop. In January-July, Orsha Poultry Farm produced products worth Br17 billion, or 120% of the same level last year. The main part of the products is sold in Belarus. Over 30% of the eggs produced are exported to Russia. -0-
