The Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant has developed an investment proposal for the creation of a transport and logistics center
31 July, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. RUP "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" has developed an investment proposal for the development of freight transport logistics, the plant's director Vladimir Troitsky told a BELTA correspondent.
The business plan for the promising development of the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant, along with technical re-equipment and the development of new types of services, envisages the implementation of a project to create a transport and logistics center. Its creation is planned on the basis of the existing "Orsha" airfield, taking into account nearby railway tracks and international highways, which will allow for the provision of services for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods by various modes of transport. The total cost of implementing this investment project is estimated at $11.6 million.
As Vladimir Troitsky noted, when developing the business plan, the volumes of transport flows and the necessary logistical support - from customs posts and warehouses to service infrastructure - were taken into account. Under the most pessimistic forecasts for the development of the global economic situation, the project's payback period will be 11 years, while economic stabilization will allow for profit expectations after 3 years of the center's operation.
The enterprise's participation with this proposal in business forums has shown that there is investor interest in this project both from far and near abroad.
The Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant was established in 1941, and the enterprise is currently undergoing corporatization. The company specializes in the repair of Mi-8, Mi-24 helicopters, their modifications, and other aircraft. Based on the results of the six-month period, the growth rate of marketable products output was 160%, and the export of services increased 12-fold compared to the same period last year.-0-
