Orsha Linen Mill switched to the production of protective masks

Just the other day, the Orsha Linen Mill completely reoriented to the production of protective masks: they produce over 13 thousand pieces per day. The sewing of this essential product is carried out in two shifts and without days off. All seamstresses of the mill and employees with sewing skills are involved.

– Today we produce several types of masks, – says Sergey Sidyn, Deputy General Director of the Orsha Linen Mill. – We produce disposable masks from medispan. We have also established the production of protective masks from non-sterile cotton gauze. By the way, the raw material for these products began to be produced at our own enterprise. Its production had to be mastered in the shortest possible time. Now we will provide gauze not only for our own needs but also for the requests of other enterprises that are engaged in the production of protective masks. Today, we produce about 10 thousand linear meters of gauze fabric per day.

The linen mill also sews masks from linen fabric. These products are additionally equipped with a protective barrier based on linen and cotton fiber. We have started the production of souvenir masks with special designs that will primarily appeal to children and young people.

– Our enterprise has completely switched to the production of protective masks, – says Sergey Sidyn. – As the volume of manufactured products is constantly increasing, the linen mill invites seamstresses to work, including those of retirement age. Training in sewing protective masks is possible for those who wish to be employed. Labor payment up to 900 rubles (including incentive payments and double pay on weekends). Accommodation is provided for non-residents. Contact us by phone: 8 (0216) 53-05-77 – HR department of the linen mill, 8 (0216) 54-90-21 – labor department.
