Orsha Flax Mill plans to significantly increase the production volumes of long flax fiber

During the implementation of the second stage of modernization of RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill", it is planned to install more than 320 units of machinery and related equipment, which will allow updating the production capacities of factory No. 2 by more than 80% and increasing the output of products from long flax fiber.

The project is designed for three years and is being implemented in accordance with Decree of the Head of State No. 663. As reported at a conference in Vitebsk by Vyacheslavirusin, First Deputy Chairman of the Bellegprom concern, it is planned to attract about 375 billion rubles to implement the measures for the second stage of modernization of the linen mill. This will also allow the enterprise to maintain its undisputed leadership in the concern in terms of the share of innovative products manufactured, which already exceeds 30% of the total volume today, while for Bellegprom as a whole in 2015, this figure is less than 6%.

The total volume of investment costs for investment projects planned for implementation in 2016-2020 at the concern's enterprises is planned at 4.6 trillion rubles, noted Vyacheslavirusin. This will reduce the wear and tear of the active part of the fixed assets of light industry enterprises to 38.5% (in 2015 - 42.2%).
